The development model of Yiwu ① is almost a specimen of the growth of China's private economy in the 1980s: the emergence of a professional market, the construction of a commodity network radiating to rural areas and small and medium-sized towns, and the emergence of thousands of family factories in the surrounding areas under the influence of logistics demand, ultimately forming a primary industry pattern of "front store, back factory" and "dual wheel drive". In the first decade of China's reform, any objective conditions in terms of industrial foundation, policy support, cultural literacy, and even geographical location could not match the local reform and innovation consciousness. Often, the liberation of local concepts was the only condition for its development. Those urban areas with strong industrial foundation and superior geographical location, such as Northeast China, North China and Shanghai, have a strong sense of planned economy, sound government governance ability, high dependence of the people on the system, and it is difficult for private capital to have the opportunity to sprout. Instead, they are border and poor areas that are geographically remote and have weak national economy, such as the the Pearl River Delta, southern Fujian and central and southern Zhejiang, but unexpectedly have the courage and possibility to make a living on their own.
