In order to rectify the factory, Zhang Ruimin formulated 13 rules and regulations after taking office, the first of which is "no urination or defecation in the workshop". When future generations read this, they would probably laugh and spray rice, but at that time it was a very serious matter. In many state-owned factories, defecating and urinating everywhere was not prohibited and commonplace.
